Care Fees Advice and Investment Specialist

About us

Richard Tingey established Capital Care with the aim of assisting elderly people and their families who are above the means test limits, navigate through the confusing system of caring for the elderly.  Over the years government legislation has become very perplexing to many people entering care for the first time. A myriad of different benefits available to them has only made the situation even more complicated.

Richard has assisted numerous people in East Anglia and throughout the UK to really understand the various options open to them.  The service he offers is  personalised and very much about choice.  He passionately believes at this, the most vulnerable time in many peoples’ lives, they should be offered the best advice available. He has been placed in the same position as his clients when his father moved into a Swanage care home, and can therefore completely empathise with the many dilemmas facing his clients.

Hitherto many aspects of long term care advice have amazingly not been regulated, but this has changed. The Financial Services Authority now regulate it, and advisers have to pass a  long term care examination to advise clients in future.  Richard has gained this qualification.

However ‘the proof of the pudding is in the eating’, and many of our clients are kind enough to acknowledge in a positive way the service they have received from us.
